Midnight put in a superb performance at Hickstead in the Redpost Equestrian Senior Foxhunter Second Round, taking 2nd place and qualifying for the championship at HOYS.

From a field of 69 entries, Midnight was drawn 17th to go in the first round. 
28 horses jumped clear in round one, and of these, 16 jumped clear in the first jump off.

Guy Williams set the eventual winning time of 42.62 seconds with Uncle Braun DK Z.

Jay and Midnight crossed the line in 44. 85 ahead of the only other triple clear, Adam Ellery with MC Gregor TN who finished with a time of 45.61.

Midnight qualifies for Horse of The Year Show

Gentle was on top form today, taking the win in the Hird & Partners speed class.

Out of a field of 70, Gentle was drawn 29th and kept his lead throughout the rest of the class, crossing the line in 58.94 seconds, ahead of second placed Harry Winwright and Pinheiro Beech who finished in 62.04 seconds.
